Our commitment

I am committed to making ismaelnasr.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

Technical approach

• Semantic HTML5 elements throughout.
• Proper heading hierarchy on every page.
• Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images.
• Keyboard navigation supported site-wide; all interactive elements are focusable.
• Visible focus indicators using the site's accent colour (terracotta).
• Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG AA (4.5:1 for normal text).
• ARIA roles and labels on form fields, navigation, and interactive widgets.
• Arabic content sections are marked with lang="ar" and dir="rtl".
• Animations respect prefers-reduced-motion; motion is disabled for users who prefer it.
• Viewport is not locked — users can zoom up to 400% without loss of content or function.

Known limitations

This site is under active development. Some project media items (images and videos) may not yet have descriptive captions or transcripts. These will be added when the final assets are provided. If you need access to the content of any media item, please contact me and I will provide an accessible alternative.

How to report an issue

If you experience any accessibility barriers on this site, please email ismaelnasr@hotmail.com with a description of the issue, the page URL, and the assistive technology you are using. I aim to respond within five (5) working days.

Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with my response, you may contact the relevant authority in your jurisdiction. In the UAE, matters relating to digital accessibility may be directed to the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA).
